SPINNING WHEEL SYMPOSIUM

June 8 & 9, 2019

The Antique Spinning Wheel Symposium was held on June 8 to 9, 2019, in Marshfield, VT.   It was enjoyed by over 30 enthusiastic spinners and weavers who participated in the two day event.  The weather was cooperative and the presentations ranged from ancient distaffs, all metal spinning wheels, different wheel makers, to many other fascinating subjects.   Thanks to Florence, The Spinning Wheel Sleuth and the Marshfield Center for Textile Research for an interesting and informative event.
